Ajman records Dh200 million land deal as largest single-day transaction
Al Zahia plot spans over 52,000 square metres
DUBAI – Ajman’s property market has registered its largest transaction of the day, with a land deal valued at Dh200 million, according to the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation.
The transaction involved a vacant plot in Al Zahia, Eastern Sector, covering 52,915.5 square metres. The land is designated for both residential and commercial purposes, aligning with the emirate’s broader urban development plans and diversified property offerings.

Officials noted that such high-value transactions signal growing confidence among investors, particularly in areas offering flexible development potential. The scale and location of the Al Zahia plot highlight its appeal for integrated projects, reinforcing Ajman’s position as a competitive destination within the UAE property sector.

The milestone deal comes amid a strong start to the year for Ajman’s real estate market. During the first quarter, a total of 961 valuation transactions were recorded, reaching a combined value of Dh2.92 billion. This represents a 63% increase compared to the same period last year, pointing to sustained growth momentum.
Valuation activity for real estate project units also saw notable expansion, with 293 transactions recorded at a total value of Dh188.2 million. This segment posted a 71% year-on-year increase, reflecting heightened engagement across various property categories.
